St. Jude's Academy Summer Camp

We are excited to announce we will be providing our families and others with a summer camp program! Very limited space will be available. St. Jude’s Academy (SJA) Camp offers an exciting array of fun, activity-based programs for campers of all ages. SJA Summer Camp provides opportunities for exploration, creativity and personal growth within a positive atmosphere. Our goal is to inspire campers through meaningful participation and rich experiences. SJA is committed to helping busy families with amazing opportunities for their children during the summer. This year, we are hosting 5 weeks of SJA Educational & Adventure Fun Camp (JK to Grade 5) activities led by qualified instructors. Games, events and activities vary weekly with different themes that give campers a fresh perspective. We are also offering a 3-week SJA Leadership Camp (Grades 6 to 12) led by qualified instructors. The SJA Leadership Camp is designed to develop the interpersonal skills of each participant, increase self-esteem and self-confidence and strengthen communication and organizational skills.

There is a low instructor to camper ratio and there is VERY LIMITED SPACE AVAILABLE for these summer camp sessions due to COVID-19 and will be filled on a first come, first served basis. If you require further information, please contact studentservices@stjudesacademy.com.

SJA Educational and Adventure Fun Camp

VERY LIMITED SPACE AVAILABLE 

Grades JK to 5 

  • Low instructor to camper ratio of 1:15 to 1:20. The number of campers will follow recommended ministry guidelines
  • Family and friend groups are encouraged and welcomed
  • Campers will work on learning math, language and science concepts and have fun with sports and arts and crafts activities
  • All who attend will receive an IB Summer Learning Certificate

COVID-19 Updates:

  • Social distancing practices will be put into place within the school/camp
  • Sanitation practices will be used daily
  • Hand washing and bathroom trips will happen regularly
  • Ratio of one teacher to a small group of campers
  • No leaving the school/camp premise for field trips etc.
  • No outside company personnel or parents will be permitted in the building

Prices  ALL INCLUDE MORNING AND AFTERNOON SNACK, lunch is not provided

All amounts paid will automatically be fully refunded should closures be issued due to COVID-19.

Enrolled for 2021-2022 SJA Students – As a special thanks from SJA for all your hard work and support during our online learning, returning (re-registered for 2021-2022) SJA students will receive Discounted Weekly Pricing:

SJA Leadership Camp (Grades 6 to 12)

St. Jude’s Academy Camp is pleased to offer our successful SJA Leadership Camp.

This program is designed to prepare eligible candidates (Grades 6 to 12) to work effectively with children in a summer camp environment. The SJA Leadership Camp is ideal for candidates who show strong initiative, are eager to grow their leadership experience, have a passion for working with children and hope to continue working with children and/or pursue more leadership roles. Our goal is for participants to use the skills they’ve developed in the program at school, home, work or wherever life may take them. Candidates receive training in areas such as leadership, mentoring and instruction. The SJA Leadership Camp is designed to develop the interpersonal skills of each participant, increase self-esteem and self-confidence and strengthen communication and organizational skills.

Spaces are limited in each camp session and will be filled on a first come, first served basis. If you require further information, please contact studentservices@stjudesacademy.com.

Grades 6 – 12

  • Low instructor to camper ratio of 1:15 to 1:20. The number of campers will follow recommended ministry guidelines
  • Family and friend groups are encouraged and welcomed
  • Campers who attend this camp for 3 weeks will receive an IB Leadership Certificate and a letter of record/reference. Campers will receive a certificate stating how much time was spent at the camp
  • Leadership Camp participants will learn the values of teamwork, responsibility, self-esteem, confidence and communication
  • The Leadership Camp participants will not be able to volunteer at the regular camp due to social distancing, group sizing and restrictions
